Remote Assistance

In today's world of on-going technical advances, computer support has become faster paced and more and more users no longer need to take the PC to the tech; the tech can come to them, virtually.

With Remote Assistance, PC Tech Rescue can solve most annoying issues so long as your computer is running and you still have internet. We will send you a small executable file that you click on which connects you to our remote PC. This enables a window that allows us to work on your issues and the fees are smaller than traditional pick-up/drop-off rates.

The best thing about Remote Assistance is the software does not stay on your computer. Once you close the remote session, the software de-installs itself. One more way that PC Tech Rescue keeps your PC safe and secure.

How Remote Assistance Works

1.  Before Remote Assistance can be rendered, payment must be made in full. Use the Pay Button below to make your payment. All payments are processed through PayPal and the service will be scheduled when payment is confirmed.

2.  Remote Assistance can be conducted in two ways; one is through Windows Live Messenger and also by the client (you) downloading the VNC program and installing it which allows for more features than Windows Live and this will ensure that you can receive the most of your support call. The preferred method of Tech Rescue is the VNC model.

3.  Download the UltraVNC Package from THIS LINK and install it to your system. Then follow these steps after installing:

  •     -Navigate on your start menu to ALL PROGRAMS > UltraVNC > installation folder..and click on "UltraVNC Server"
  •     -In the system tray will be a blue (eye) icon. Right-Click it and select "Admin Properties"
  •     -In the vnc password box create a password (LOWER CASE please); click "Apply" and "OK"
  •     -Please ENSURE any firewalls you have are allowing access to the VNC program
  •     -When you are sure that everything is setup correctly, Click HERE to get your IP address. Email or call PC Tech Rescue  with the IP Address and the VNC password so we can gain access for the session.

PC Tech Rescue will do everything possible to get your problems solved.
